ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያመለክተው የሰው ልጅ ሆድ (ምግብ ፍላጎት) እንደለመደው ወይም እንደተለመደው ነው። ብዙ እንዲበላ ከለመደ ብዙ ይጠይቃል፣ ትንሽ ከለመደ ደግሞ በጥቂቱ ይረካል። የሰው ፍላጎት ወይም ልምድ እንደየሁኔታው እንደሚስተካከል ያሳያል።
