This proverb shows that when something happens or a situation arises, it has its own clear sign or consequence. Just as imprisonment can lead to a saw (a cutting tool), judgment implies apprehension.

ይህ ብሂል የሚያሳየው አንድ ነገር ሲከሰት ወይም አንድ ሁኔታ ሲፈጠር የራሱ የሆነ ግልጽ ምልክት ወይም ውጤት እንዳለው ነው። እስር ሲኖር መጋዝ (የመቁረጫ መሳሪያ) ሊመጣ እንደሚችል ሁሉ፣ መዳኘት ሲኖር ደግሞ መያዝ አለ።
