ይህ ምሳሌ አንድ ሰው ካጋጠመው ውርደት ወይም ውርደት በኋላ ወደዚያ ሁኔታ እንደገና ላለመመለስ ያለውን ጽኑ ፍላጎት ወይም ጸሎት ይገልጻል። አንድ ጊዜ ያፈረበትን ነገር ዳግም ላለማየት ወይም ላለመድገም መፈለጉን ያሳያል።
