ሀብታም ሊሰጥ ደሀ ምርጥ ያወጣል

ትርጉም

This proverb observes the contrasting behaviors of the rich and the poor regarding generosity. A rich person may be willing to give, but a poor person, out of desperation or a desire to make the most of an opportunity, might be tempted to take the best of what is offered, or perhaps even more than intended. It can reflect on opportunism born of need.

ትርጉም

ሀብታም ሰው ለመስጠት ፈቃደኛ ሊሆን ይችላል፣ ነገር ግን ድሃው ሰው በጉጉቱ ወይም በተስፋ መቁረጡ ከሚሰጠው በላይ ለመውሰድ ወይም ምርጡን ክፍል ለመውሰድ ይሞክራል። በሀብታሞችና በድሆች መካከል ስላለው የአሰጣጥና የመውሰድ ተለዋዋጭነት፣ ወይም አንዳንዴም የችግረኞች ዕድለኝነትን ያመለክታል።
