ትርጉም

This proverb highlights the disruption, displacement, or loss that occurs when something or someone is separated from their fundamental place or environment. Just as a hive (represented by the 'fence' or 'enclosure') loses its essence when the bee leaves it, a person loses their identity and foundation when exiled from their country. It implies that when things depart from their established order or place, their purpose or outcome changes significantly, or they are lost altogether.

ይህ ምሳሌ አንድ ነገር ወይም ሰው ከመሰረታዊ ቦታው ወይም አከባቢው ሲለይ የሚከሰተውን መቋረጥ፣ መፈናቀል ወይም መጥፋት ያመለክታል። ንብ ከቀፎዋ ስትሄድ ያ አጥር ወይም ቀፎ ትርጉም እንደሚያጣ ሁሉ፣ ሰውም ከሀገሩ ሲሰደድ የራሱን ማንነት እና መሰረትን ያጣል። ነገሮች ከነበሩበት ስርአት ሲወጡ ውጤታቸውም ይለወጣል ወይም ይጠፋል ማለት ነው።
