ይህ ብሂል በጣም አክራሪ እና ጨካኝ አባባል ሲሆን አንድን ችግር ወይም ክርክር ከመሰረቱ ለማጥፋት (በጥሩም ሆነ በመጥፎ መንገድ) መጀመሪያ የችግሩን ዋነኛ ተዋናይ ወይም መፍቻውን ማጥፋት ያስፈልጋል ማለት ነው። ችግሩን ለመፍታት ከመሞከር ይልቅ መንስኤውን ማስወገድን ያመለክታል።
