This proverb means that if a person has gained some benefit or satisfaction before, they will have patience for the bigger or main thing. Getting a small thing makes the process of waiting for a larger thing easier.

ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው ከዚህ በፊት የተወሰነ ጥቅም ወይም እርካታ ካገኘ፣ ለትልቁ ወይም ለዋናው ነገር ትዕግስት እንደሚኖረው ይገልጻል። ትንሽ ነገር ማግኘት ለትልቅ ነገር የመጠበቅን ሂደት ቀላል ያደርገዋል።
