ትርጉም

This proverb illustrates how strongly someone believes in their own stance or idea. When one believes their own opinion is correct, and another believes theirs is correct, the opinions or agreement of others are merely a 'bonus' and not the ultimate truth for them. It shows holding firmly to one's own ideas or beliefs.

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያሳየው አንድ ሰው በራሱ አቋም ወይም ሃሳብ ምን ያህል እንደሚያምን ነው። አንድ ሰው የራሱ አስተያየት ትክክል እንደሆነ አምኖ፣ ሌላውም የራሱ ትክክል ነው ብሎ ሲያስብ፣ የሌሎች ሰዎች አስተያየት ወይም ስምምነት ለእነሱ ትርፍ (bonus) ብቻ ነው እንጂ የመጨረሻው እውነት አይደለም። የራስን ሃሳብ ወይም እምነት በጥብቅ መያዝን ያሳያል።
