This proverb describes the different means by which people, based on their socio-economic status, sustain themselves and achieve their goals. A poor person relies on their physical labor and effort, while a rich person utilizes their money and assets.

ድሃ ሰው በጉልበቱ ወይም በጥረቱ እንደሚኖር፣ ሀብታም ሰው ደግሞ በገንዘቡና በንብረቱ እንደሚኖር የሚገልጽ ምሳሌ ነው። እያንዳንዱ ሰው የራሱን ሀብት ወይም አቅም ተጠቅሞ እንዴት እንደሚኖር ያሳያል።
