ይህ ምሳሌ የራሱን የጉልበት ሥራና ጥረት (ዘሩ የጣቴ) ከአባቱ የተወረሰውን መሬት ወይም ሌላ ጥቅም (ምድሩ ያባቴ) ጋር በማጣመር ያለውን ነገር ይገልጻል። የግል ጥረት ከዘር ውርስ ወይም ከአባታዊ ውርስ ጋር ሲጣመር ያለውን ነገር ያሳያል።
