ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው በቀጥታ እርዳታ እንዲያደርግ ሲጠራ ወይም በቦታው እንዲገኝ ሲጠየቅ ለማምለጥ ወይም ፈቃደኛ አለመሆኑን ለማሳየት 'ወዴት?' በማለት ጥያቄ የሚያቀርብ ሲሆን፣ ነገር ግን በሌላ ተግባር ወይም ሥራ ላይ እንዲሄድ ሲላክ ደግሞ በታላቅ ፈቃደኝነትና ታዛዥነት 'አቤት!' እንደሚል ያሳያል። የሰዎችን ግብዝነት፣ ኃላፊነትን ለማምለጥ መሞከርን፣ ወይም ጥቅምን ፍለጋ የሚደረግን ውጫዊ ታዛዥነት ለመግለጽ ያገለግላል።
