ትርጉም

This proverb illustrates that a task or responsibility, while not difficult for the main bearer (the actor), might be heavy for others involved with the task or for its preparation. The main effort might not be the donkey carrying the load, but rather the act of loading and unloading it (the loader). Alternatively, it means that a task that is easy for one person might be made difficult by the opinions or methods of others.

ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያሳየው አንድ ሥራ ወይም ኃላፊነት ዋናውን ተሸካሚ (ተዋናይ) የማያስቸግር ቢሆንም፣ ከሥራው ጋር ለተያያዙት ሌሎች አካላት ወይም ለዝግጅቱ ከባድ ሊሆን እንደሚችል ነው። ሸክም በአህያ ላይ መጫን ዋናው ድካም ሳይሆን፣ ሸክሙን በአህያ ላይ ማውጣትና ማውረድ (መጫኛው) ሊሆን ይችላል። ወይም ደግሞ አንድ ሰው በቀላሉ የሚሰራውን ስራ፣ የሌሎች ሰዎች አስተያየት ወይም አሰራር ከባድ ሊያደርገው ይችላል።
