This proverb means that the person who is most affected by a problem, or who feels the pain/consequence directly, is the one who will take action to resolve it. Those who are directly experiencing the negative impact are the ones most motivated to find a solution.

በችግር ወይም በመከራ ውስጥ ያለ ሰው፣ ችግሩን ለመፍታት የበለጠ ይጥራል። ጉዳዩ በቀጥታ የሚመለከተው ሰው ለመፍትሄው ይሯሯጣል።
