ሀብታም ያለ ድሀ አይኮራም ድሀ ያለ ሀብታም አይበላም

ትርጉም

This proverb illustrates the interdependent relationship between the rich and the poor. A rich person's honor and superiority are visible because there are poor people; without the poor, wealth would lose its meaning. Conversely, a poor person may need the work or support of the rich to survive and eat. It shows that both parties have a shared existence and rely on each other.

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ በሀብታሞችና በድሆች መካከል ያለውን ጥገኛ ግንኙነት ያሳያል። ሀብታም ሰው ክብሩና ልዕልናው የሚታየው ድሀ ስላለ ነው። ድሀ ከሌለ የሀብታምነት ትርጉም አይኖረውም። በተቃራኒው፣ ድሀ ሰው ደግሞ ለመኖርና ለመብላት የሀብታሞችን ስራ ወይም ድጋፍ ሊፈልግ ይችላል። ሁለቱ ወገኖች የጋራ መኖር እንዳላቸው እና እርስ በርስ እንደሚደጋገፉ ያሳያል።
