ይህ ምሳሌ በሀብታሞች እና በድሆች መካከል ያለውን ልዩነት እና የሁኔታቸውን አገላለጽ ያጎላል። ሀብታሞች በሀብታቸው (በወርቃቸው) የሚታወቁ ሲሆን ድሆች ደግሞ በትህትና ንብረቶቻቸው (በቀላል ልብሳቸው) ይታወቃሉ። በማህበራዊ ክፍፍል እና በሀብትና ድህነት መካከል ያለውን የተለያየ እውነታ ያሳያል።
