ያህያ ባል ከጅብ ጉቦ በላ

ትርጉም

This proverb describes an extremely inappropriate, treacherous, and unethical act. The image of a donkey's husband (implying a human associated with the vulnerable donkey) taking a bribe from a hyena (a predator) symbolizes a betrayal of one's own or one's trust for personal gain, even from an enemy. It highlights a morally reprehensible compromise.
