ይህ ብሂል አንድ ሰው ሁለት የሚጋጩ መንገዶችን ወይም ምኞቶችን በአንድ ጊዜ መከተል እንደማይችል ያመለክታል። የገዳም ሕይወትን መምረጥ (ማግባት) ልጅ እንዳለመውለድ ሁሉ፣ ምርጫዎች የራሳቸው መዘዝ እንዳላቸው ይገልጻል።
