ዛፎች አለቁ እና ግራሮች ዛፍ ሆኑ

ትርጉም

This proverb describes a situation where, due to a scarcity of superior options, lesser or inferior alternatives are elevated to a position they don't deserve. When good things (trees) are exhausted, even undesirable ones (thorn bushes) are accepted and treated as if they are valuable. It speaks to compromising standards in times of desperation or scarcity.
