ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያሳየው አንድ ሰው የሌለው ወይም የማይችለው ነገር እንደሌለው ወይም እንደማይችል ነው። ዓይነ ስውር ማየት ስለማይችል ያየውን ሊናገር አይችልም፣ ደንቆሮም መስማት ስለማይችል የሰማውን ሊናገር አይችልም። ይህም ማለት የሌለውን ነገር መጠየቅ ወይም አለመቻልን መቃወም የለብንም ማለት ነው።
