እንደ አይን ፈሪ እንደ እግር ደፋር የለም

ትርጉም

This proverb contrasts the perceived 'cowardice' of the eye with the 'bravery' of the foot. The eye is 'cowardly' because it quickly shuts or turns away from danger or unpleasant sights. In contrast, the foot is 'brave' because it ventures everywhere, often into challenging or unknown situations, enduring hardship without hesitation. It highlights the opposing qualities within human nature.
