ትርጉም

Those with wealth and power have influence and make decisions ('weigh' meaning to decide or evaluate), while those without are marginalized, helpless, and suffer ('grow numb' from despair or inaction). It describes the disparity of power and agency between the rich and the poor.

ሀብትና ሥልጣን ያላቸው ተጽዕኖ ያሳድራሉ እንዲሁም ውሳኔ ያደርጋሉ ( 'ይመዝናል' ማለት ይወስናል ወይም ይገመግማል)፣ ሀብት የሌላቸው ግን ተገልለው፣ አቅመ ቢስ ሆነው ይሠቃያሉ (ተስፋ ከመቁረጥ ወይም ከድርጊት ማጣት 'ይፈዛል')። ይህ በሀብታሞችና በድሆች መካከል ያለውን የሥልጣንና የአቅም ልዩነት ይገልጻል።
