ትርጉም

This proverb indicates that when both parties are involved in an act of theft or deception, neither has the right to demand justice or accuracy from the other. When both are guilty, one cannot blame the other (e.g., if two thieves divide their loot, one cannot complain about receiving less).

ይህ ብሂል ሁለቱም ወገኖች በስርቆት ወይም በማጭበርበር ድርጊት ውስጥ ስለሆኑ የትኛውም ወገን ፍትህ ወይም ትክክለኛነት የመጠየቅ መብት እንደሌለው ያሳያል። ሁለቱም ጥፋተኛ ሲሆኑ አንዱ ሌላውን ሊወቅስ አይችልም (ምሳሌ: ሁለት ሌቦች ሲካፈሉ አንዱ ያነሰኝ ብሎ ሊከራከር አይችልም)።
