ታረጁ ወዲያ ጎፈሬ አዝመራ የሳተው ገበሬ

ትርጉም

This proverb describes someone who, despite their age (indicated by the 'big afro,' often associated with youth or lack of seriousness), acts inappropriately for their position or stage in life. The 'farmer who missed the harvest' refers to someone who failed to seize a crucial opportunity when it was available. Combined, it speaks of regret or shame resulting from a failure to act responsibly or capitalize on opportunities at the right time.
