ያባት ሲቀር ምሰህ ቅበር

ትርጉም

This proverb implies that when a father passes away or becomes unable to fulfill his duties, his responsibilities transfer to his children. The children are expected to inherit their father's good character, work ethic, and ability to take on responsibilities, thereby caring for their family and filling their father's shoes. 'Emulate him and bury' means to follow in the father's footsteps, take over his responsibilities, and fill the void he left.

ይህ ብሂል የሚያመለክተው አባት ሲሞት ወይም ሲያረጅ የቤተሰብ ኃላፊነት ወደ ልጆቹ እንደሚተላለፍ ነው። ልጆችም የአባታቸውን መልካም ባህሪ፣ የሥራ ሞራልና ኃላፊነት የመውሰድ ችሎታ ወርሰው ቤተሰባቸውን መንከባከብና የአባታቸውን ቦታ መተካት አለባቸው። 'ምሰህ ቅበር' ማለት የአባቱን ፈለግ ተከትሎ ኃላፊነቱን ተረክቦ የጎደለውን ቦታ መሙላት ማለት ነው።
