ትርጉም

This proverb advises prompt action and avoiding procrastination, especially in matters of repentance or doing good deeds. It means one should not delay in correcting their path or making amends, as continued delay only leads to more transgressions ('multiplying sins'). 'Travel in time' refers to acting timely.

አንድ ሰው ኃጢአቱን ሳያበዛ ወይም ሳያከማች፣ በጊዜው ንስሃ እንዲገባ ወይም ትክክለኛውን ነገር እንዲያደርግ ይመክራል። ነገሮችን ሳያዘገዩ በጊዜው እንዲፈጽሙ እና ከክፉ ነገር እንዲርቁ ማሳሰቢያ ነው።
