ዘመድ ከዘመዱ አህያ ካመዱ

ትርጉም

This proverb indicates that people are naturally drawn to their similarities, by nature or by desire. Just as relatives draw close to each other, and a donkey seeks ashes or dust (as it loves to roll in dust), so too do people gather together according to their characteristics or lineage.

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ ሰዎች በተፈጥሮ ወይም በፍላጎት ወደ ተመሳሳይነታቸው እንደሚስቡ ያመለክታል። ዘመዶች እርስ በእርስ እንደሚቀራረቡ፣ አህያም ከአመድ ወይም ከአቧራ ጋር እንደሚወዳጅ (በአቧራ ውስጥ መሽከርከር ስለሚወድ) ሁሉ፣ ሰዎችም እንደየባህሪያቸው ወይም ዘራቸው ወደ እርስ በርስ እንደሚሰበሰቡ ይገልጻል።
