ዝባድን ከውሻ እምነትን ከባለጌ አትሻ

This proverb advises against expecting certain things from individuals who are inherently incapable or unwilling to provide them. Just as one cannot expect a dog to willingly share its scraps (its nature is to guard its food), one should not expect trustworthiness, loyalty, or integrity from a rude, ill-mannered, or morally bankrupt person.
