አንድ መሪ፣ አስተማሪ ወይም ባለሥልጣን የሚያስተምረውን ወይም የሚናገረውን መመሪያ መከተል እንጂ፣ እሱ ራሱ የሚፈጽመውን ድርጊት መኮረጅ እንደሌለብን የሚያሳይ አባባል ነው። በተለይ መሪያው በሚያስተምረውና በሚሰራው መካከል ልዩነት ሲኖር ይጠቅማል።
