እድሜ ለንስሀ ዘመን ለፍስሀ

Meaning

This proverb indicates that there is a time for two different things. Youth and active life are for joy and celebration (`fisaha`), while old age and nearing the end of life are suggested as a time for repentance and religious purity. It expresses that each phase of life has its own meaning and purpose.

ትርጉም

ይህ አባባል ለሁለት የተለያዩ ነገሮች የሚኖር ጊዜ እንዳለ ያሳያል። ወጣትነትና ንቁ የህይወት ዘመን ለደስታና ለልውጥ (ፍስሀ) የሚሆን ሲሆን፣ እርጅናና ወደ መጨረሻው ህይወት መቃረብ ደግሞ ለንስሀና ለሃይማኖታዊ ንጽህና የሚሆን ጊዜ እንደሆነ ይጠቁማል። እያንዳንዱ የህይወት ምዕራፍ የራሱ የሆነ ትርጉም እና ዓላማ እንዳለው ይገልጻል።
