ንጉስ የፈረደበት መርከብ የተሰበረበት

Meaning

This proverb describes someone facing insurmountable and hopeless challenges, where all paths to recourse or survival are cut off. 'One condemned by the king' refers to someone facing the highest, inescapable judgment. 'One whose ship is broken' signifies someone who has lost all means of livelihood, hope, or escape. Both phrases denote a state of utter ruin and desperation.

ይህ ምሳሌ የሁለት ታላላቅና ከባድ ችግሮችን ማሳያ ነው። "ንጉስ የፈረደበት" ማለት የመጨረሻውና ይግባኝ የሌለው ቅጣት የተፈረደበት ሰው ሲሆን፣ "መርከብ የተሰበረበት" ደግሞ የመተዳደሪያ መንገዱ ወይም የህይወቱ ተስፋ ሙሉ በሙሉ የተቋረጠበትን ሰው ያመለክታል። ሁለቱም ጥልቅና ተስፋ የሌላቸው ችግሮችን ያመለክታል።
