ልጅ ያቦካው ለእራት አይሆንም

✦

“What a child kneads will not be for dinner.”

Meaning

This proverb suggests that work or efforts undertaken by an inexperienced, immature, or unqualified person are often not sufficient or suitable for a serious, important, or demanding purpose. A child's playful kneading, while well-intentioned, won't produce dough good enough for a proper dinner. It warns against entrusting critical tasks to those without the necessary skill or maturity.
