ስራ ያጣ መነኩሴ የምርጫ ቅስቀሳ ጀመረ

Meaning

This proverb illustrates a situation where someone, lacking their usual occupation or purpose, undertakes an activity that is entirely unsuited to their nature, calling, or expertise. A monk, typically dedicated to spiritual life and detachment from worldly affairs, campaigning for an election is an absurd and unexpected scenario, signifying someone meddling in inappropriate matters due to idleness or a lack of proper engagement.
