ያገርን ሰርዶ ያገር በሬ ያወጣዋል

Meaning

This proverb indicates that the best way to solve a country's problem is by its own people or the owner of the problem itself. Just as the country's own ox is better suited to pull out the country's grass (weeds) than an ox brought from outside, it implies that a country's own people are best suited to solve its problems.
