ይህ ብሂል በኢትዮጵያ የቀን አቆጣጠር የክረምቱን ወራት (ሐምሌ እና ነሐሴ) ከባድ ዝናብ መኖሩን ያመለክታል። ዝናቡ በጣም ከመብዛቱ የተነሳ ቀጭን ወይም የተቀደደ ልብስ ብቻ ለብሶ መሄድ እንደሚቻል፣ ወይም ወፍራም ልብስ እንኳን ዝናቡን መቋቋም እንደማይችል ያሳያል።
