Meaning

This proverb is a plea or an expression of hope that the same power or entity that brought about a difficult situation or punishment will also be the one to bring relief or mercy. It acknowledges divine power over both affliction and salvation.

ይህ ምሳሌ የችግር ወይም የቅጣት መንስኤ የሆነው አካል ወይም ኃይል እፎይታን ወይም ምህረትን እንዲያመጣ የሚቀርብ ልመና ነው። መለኮታዊ ኃይል በችግርም ሆነ በመዳን ላይ ያለውን ቁጥጥር ያሳያል።
