የልጅ ተሟጋች በፊት ሰማይ ያያል ኋላ መሬት

Meaning

This proverb indicates that a child's advocate or guardian might start with high hopes and aspirations (looking at the sky), but ultimately has to face the child's limitations or the realities of life (looking at the ground). It shows the natural limitations of children and that we should not expect beyond them.

ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያመለክተው የልጅ ጠበቃ ወይም ሞግዚት በመጀመሪያ በከፍተኛ ተስፋ እና ፍላጎት (ሰማይ ማየት) ሊጀምር ቢችልም፣ በመጨረሻ ግን የልጁን ውስንነት ወይም የህይወትን እውነታ (መሬት ማየት) መጋፈጥ እንዳለበት ነው። የልጆችን ተፈጥሮአዊ ውስንነት እና ከእነሱ በላይ መጠበቅ የሌለብን መሆኑን ያሳያል።
