ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያመለክተው ለሀብታም ወይም ለሥልጣን ባለቤት ሲሉ የራስን እውነት ወይም መርህ ማጠፍ እንደሌለብን ነው። "ዳባ ለባሽ" ሀብታም ወይም ተፅዕኖ ፈጣሪን ሲያመለክት፣ የራስን ታማኝነት ወይም አቋም ለጥቅም ብለው ማበላሸት እንደሌለብን ያሳያል።
