ድመትና አይጥ እሳትና ጭድ

Meaning

This proverb vividly describes an inherent and irreconcilable antagonism. Just as fire and straw are naturally opposed and dangerous to each other, cats and mice are natural enemies. It's used to describe two entities that are in constant conflict or utterly incompatible.
