የመሬት ሴሰኛ ከመንገድ ዳር ይተኛ

Meaning

This proverb serves as a warning against excessive greed and insatiable desire for possessions, particularly land. It suggests that a person who is overly covetous and driven by endless acquisition will ultimately lose everything and end up destitute, metaphorically "sleeping by the roadside."
