ቄስ እበር አረመኔ ከማህበር

Meaning

This proverb describes an inappropriate arrangement or situation. A priest, as a spiritual leader, should be inside the church, so being 'at the door' is improper. A 'heathen' is someone far from worship or a non-believer, so they shouldn't be 'from the assembly' of believers. This means that if every thing or person is not in their proper place, then the order of things is disrupted, or something is being done incorrectly.

ይህ ምሳሌ የነገሮች ተገቢ ያልሆነ አቀማመጥ ወይም ሁኔታን ይገልፃል። ቄስ የአምልኮ እና የመንፈሳዊ መሪ በመሆኑ ቦታው በቤተክርስቲያን ውስጥ መሆን ሲገባው 'እበር' ላይ መሆኑ አግባብ አይደለም። 'አረመኔ' ደግሞ ከአምልኮ የራቀ ወይም የማያምን ሰው ነው፣ ስለዚህ 'ከማህበር' (ከአጥማቂዎች ወይም ከተቀበሉ ሰዎች ስብስብ) መሆን የለበትም። ይህ ማለት እያንዳንዱ ነገር ወይም ሰው ሊሆንበት በሚገባው ቦታ ላይ ካልሆነ፣ የነገሮች ቅደም ተከተል ተዛብቷል ወይም የተሳሳተ ነገር እየተከናወነ ነው ማለት ነው።
