Meaning
This proverb refers to finding comfort by comparing one's own situation with others, remembering that there are people in worse conditions than oneself. It states that even if one's own problem seems difficult, one should find solace by thinking that there are those with worse problems.

ይህ ምሳሌ የራስን ሁኔታ ከሌሎች ጋር በማወዳደር፣ ከራስ የባሰ ሁኔታ ውስጥ ያሉ ሰዎች መኖራቸውን በማስታወስ ማጽናናትን ያመለክታል። ምንም እንኳን የራስህ ችግር ከባድ ቢመስልም፣ ከዚህ የባሰ ችግር ያለባቸው እንዳሉ በማሰብ መጽናናት እንደሚገባ ይገልጻል።
