ሽማግሌ ካልሞተ ስንዴ ካልሸተ

Meaning

This proverb indicates the necessity of growth and change. If elders don't die, there will be no room for a new generation; if wheat doesn't ripen, there will be no harvest. Both are part of the natural cycle of life. It shows that by accepting the natural process of things, something new will come.

ትርጉም

ይህ ምሳሌ የእድገትና የለውጥ አስፈላጊነትን ያመለክታል። አዛውንቶች ካልሞቱ ለአዲስ ትውልድ ቦታ አይኖርም፣ ስንዴ ካልደረሰ ምርት አይኖርም። ሁለቱም ተፈጥሮአዊ የህይወት ኡደት አካል ናቸው። የነገሮችን ተፈጥሯዊ ሂደት በመቀበል አዲስ ነገር እንደሚመጣ ያሳያል።
