Meaning

'Arada' refers to a city person, smart, or self-confident person. If both parties are smart, equally capable, or equally proud, then fighting over others' matters or on someone else's property is meaningless. This proverb criticizes the futile conflicts that arise when people neglect their own problems to interfere in others' affairs.

ትርጉም

'አራዳ' የከተማ ሰው፣ ብልህ ወይም በራሱ የሚተማመን ሰው ማለት ነው። ሁለቱም ወገኖች ብልህ፣ እኩል አቅም ያላቸው ወይም እኩል የሚመኩ ከሆኑ፣ የሌሎችን ጉዳይ በመምረጥ ወይም በሌላ ሰው ቦታ ላይ መጣላት ትርጉም የሌለው መሆኑን ይገልጻል። ይህ ምሳሌ ሰዎች የራሳቸውን ችግር ትተው በሌሎች ጉዳይ ጣልቃ ሲገቡ የሚፈጠረውን ከንቱ ግጭት ይተቻል።
