ሆድህና ልጅህ አይጥሉህ

Meaning

This is a blessing or a wish for continued sustenance and familial support. "May your stomach not abandon you" means may you always have food and never go hungry. "May your child not abandon you" means may your children remain loyal, supportive, and present for you, especially in your old age or times of need.
