ይህ ምሳሌ ተማሪ በህይወት ዘመኑ ብዙ ችግር እና የረሀብ ወቅት ሊያሳልፍ ይችላል ነገር ግን እውቀቱን ተምሮ ሲጨርስ ወይም ሲሞት (ለሀገር ጥቅም ሲውል) ዋጋው ይታወቃል። ዶሮም እንዲሁ በህይወቷ ብዙ ነገር አትሰጥም ስትሞት ግን ለምግብነት ትጠቀማለች።
