እናት ትረገጣለች እንደ መሬት

ይህ ምሳሌ የእናት ፍቅርና ትዕግስት ወሰን የለሽ መሆኑን ያሳያል። ልጆች እናት እንደ መሬት ሁልጊዜም የሚረግጧት (የሚጠቀሙባት፣ የሚደግፏት) ቢሆንም፣ እሷ ግን ለሁሉም ሰው ደጋፊና ለጋስ መሆኗን ይገልጻል። የእናትነትን መስዋዕትነትና አለመሰልቸትን ያጎላል።
