ይህ ብሂል የሚያመለክተው ምንም ያህል ጥረት ቢደረግ ወይም ብዙ ቁጥር ያለው ነገር ቢሞከር፣ ነገር ግን የመነሻው ምንጭ አንድና ውስን ከሆነ፣ ውጤቱ ምንጊዜም የዚያው ምንጭ ባህሪ ይሆናል እንጂ አይለወጥም። የአንድ ነገር መነሻና ውስንነት ምንም አይነት ብዛት ቢጨመርበት ውጤቱን እንደማይለውጠው ያሳያል።
