የክፉ ሰው ተዝካር ውሀ ያስወስዳል በህዳር

Meaning

This proverb suggests that even a wicked person's memorial or legacy brings no good. The act of fetching water in Hidar (November), a dry season when water is scarce, specifically for the memorial of a wicked person, implies a useless and burdensome effort rather than a beneficial one. It conveys that a wicked person is unproductive and undesirable, both in life and in death.

ይህ ምሳሌ የሚያሳየው የክፉ ሰው ሞት ወይም መታሰቢያ እንኳን ለሌሎች መልካም እንዳልሆነ። ለክፉ ሰው ዝክር ውኃ የሚያስወስደው፣ በድርቅ ወር ህዳር የውኃ እጥረት ባለበት ወቅት እንኳን፣ ለመልካም ዓላማ ሳይሆን ለከንቱ ተግባር መሆኑን ያሳያል። የክፉ ሰው በህይወት ዘመኑም ሆነ ከሞት በኋላም ፋይዳ የሌለው መሆኑን ይገልጻል።
