Meaning

This proverb illustrates the danger of divided responsibility or having too many people in charge of a single task. When multiple individuals assume responsibility, each may believe the others are taking action, leading to neglect, oversight, and ultimately, failure or harm. It's similar to 'too many cooks spoil the broth.'

ይህ ምሳሌ አንድን ተግባር ለመፈጸም ብዙ ሰዎች ኃላፊነት ሲወስዱ፣ እርስ በርስ በመተማመን ሁሉም እንደሚሰራ በመገመት፣ መጨረሻ ላይ ስራው ሳይሰራ ወይም ስህተት ሲፈጠር የሚከሰተውን አደጋ ያሳያል። 'ብዙ ሞግዚት ያለው ልጅ ወድቆ ይሞታል' ከሚለው ጋር ተመሳሳይ ነው።
