ዶሮ ጭራ ጭራ አወጣች ማረጃዋን ካራ

Meaning

This proverb suggests that when some people harbor grand ambitions or become overly arrogant, their end will be bad. Even though a chicken growing a big tail might be a cause for pride, it makes it more visible and leads to its slaughter. It teaches that excessive arrogance or ambition can lead to downfall.
